Thatched Cottage, Suffolk
Our role was to develop a sensitive yet distinctive extension that added light, space and architectural interest to the property.
We designed the vaulted sun room as a contemporary contrast to the traditional dwelling, carefully considering scale, glazing, roof form and the relationship between old and new. Particular attention was given to the lower linking element, ensuring the existing dormer window could be retained without compromising the quality or usability of the new space.
The project demonstrates our ability to resolve complex design constraints while delivering elegant, practical and characterful extensions tailored to the client’s home.
