St Martins Meadow, South Norfolk

Our role was to create a high-quality rural housing development that responded sensitively to the historic parish of Bergh Apton and its countryside surroundings.

We developed a bespoke layout inspired by traditional settlement patterns, carefully considering the position, spacing and orientation of each dwelling to create variety, individuality and a strong sense of place.

Alongside the architectural design, we coordinated the key site constraints, including drainage, archaeology, ground conditions and service connections. The project demonstrates our ability to deliver carefully considered rural residential development on complex sites, balancing planning, technical and architectural requirements while creating homes suited to modern countryside living.
