Orchard Fram, Holverston

Our role was to rationalise a challenging former agricultural site and create a more coherent, sensitive and deliverable residential scheme.

We reviewed the existing planning position and developed a revised approach that reduced the overall number of dwellings while improving the quality of the development. Careful consideration was given to layout, scale, materials, amenity space, access and the relationship between the converted buildings and new dwellings.

Our design approach focused on retaining the rural character of the site while removing redundant structures and introducing high-quality homes that felt appropriate to their setting. The project demonstrates our ability to unlock the potential of complex rural sites, consolidate planning opportunities and deliver thoughtful residential design rooted in local character.
