Grain Store, South Norfolk

Our role was to design a substantial agricultural grain store that met the operational requirements of the farm while responding sensitively to its rural setting.

We developed a robust and efficient building using appropriate agricultural materials, including steel profiled cladding, pre-cast concrete retaining walls and a profiled sheet roof. Particular consideration was given to the internal performance of the store, including the integration of ventilated floors for grain storage.

Alongside the building design, we incorporated landscape mitigation to help reduce the visual impact of the development from surrounding fields. The project demonstrates our ability to deliver practical agricultural buildings that balance functionality, durability and rural landscape considerations.
