Georgian House, North Norfolk

Our role was to unlock the potential of the existing period home by designing a contemporary extension that maximised light, openness and garden views.

We developed a structural and architectural approach that allowed the extension to remain free of internal load-bearing walls, creating a flexible open-plan space with floor-to-ceiling glazing on three sides. Particular attention was given to the junctions, glazing tracks and ceiling design to ensure the finished extension felt clean, seamless and highly detailed.

The project demonstrates our ability to combine modern construction techniques with sensitive design, delivering a bold contemporary addition that enhances the way the home is used while maintaining a clear distinction between old and new.
