New Development, Alpington

Our role was to bring forward a well-designed, policy-responsive residential scheme for seven new two-storey dwellings, balancing housing delivery with the sensitivities of an edge-of-village location.

We developed a layout that reflected the established linear character of Alpington, carefully considering the relationship between the new homes, neighbouring properties, the village street scene and the wider countryside setting.

Particular attention was given to landscape integration, access, pedestrian movement, material selection and the creation of a strong but softened settlement edge. The project demonstrates our ability to progress context-sensitive residential developments that respond to planning policy, local character, landscape setting and practical delivery requirements.
