Our role was to unlock the potential of a redundant rural cottage and associated farm building through a sensitive yet contemporary design approach.

We developed a scheme that carefully considered the relationship between the original dwelling, the converted farm building and the new extension elements. Particular attention was given to scale, massing, material choices and detailing to ensure the modern interventions enhanced the property without diminishing its traditional character.

The project demonstrates our ability to transform redundant rural buildings into high-quality homes, combining contemporary design with a respectful understanding of existing built form and countryside character.
