Olive Terrace, Suffolk
The project transformed a former commercial premises into three new terraced dwellings within a sensitive town-centre and conservation area setting, adjacent to the Grade II listed Ravensmere House.
The design responded carefully to the site constraints, reducing the impact of a previously refused proposal undertaken by another firm, while improving the relationship with neighbouring properties and the surrounding historic context. Planning permission was secured for a modest residential development that brought a brownfield site back into use and delivered three new homes in a sustainable location.
